Jenene Ravesloot:
is a member of the Poets' Club of Chicago, Poets & Patrons and the Illinois State Poetry Society. Her poetry has been published in Seeding the Snow, Northeastern Illinois University's Apocalypse 9, the Chicago Quarterly Review, after hours Issue No. 19, 20-21, 22, 23, 24 and 25. She has also been published in the Haiku Society of America Anthology Frog Pond, 2012, the October 2012, March 2012 issue of CC&D Literary Magazine, and Poetic License Press, 2012 inaugural issue of A Light Breakfast. THIS Literary Magazine, an on-line journal, has also published her work. Jenene Ravesloot has published three books of poetry: Loot: Stolen Memories & Tales Out of School, The Chronicles of Scarbo and FloatingWorlds. All three books have been published by First Flight Books.
Tom Roby:
publishes and performs his poetry in Chicago, while writing criticism and winning various competitions. He is President and critique leader of the Poets' Club of Chicago, and was chair of their annual Helen Schaible Sonnet Contest. He is also a member of the Illinois State Poetry Society and Poetry and Patrons. His poems have appeared in

Each month at Brewed Awakening we feature a new local artist,
showcasing
their artwork in our store. Not only does this make our coffee shop
lookgreat, but our customers get to experience a new ambience every
month that reflects each artist. Feel free to contact us for more
information on our artists or becoming a featured artist.

Mic:
Gives audience members to have an opportunity to perform at the
microphone. The performers sign up in advance for a time slot with the
host on the same day.
